Snapshot: The World’s Largest Squid Was Caught

March 07, 2007 - John Bennett, captain of a New Zealand commercial fishing boat, caught a gigantic squid. The beast, a 33-foot-long adult male weighing half a ton, had wrapped itself around one of Bennett’s lines.

Mystery: Ghost Images Around The World

This photo was taken during a minor bush fire. The photo came out with the fire forming a lady ghost.

This photo was taken in 1949 at the Royal Hotel in Bungendore NSW,

It sure looks like a ghost.

This photograph was found in the old nurses quarters during renovations. On the back was written "He has been at it again. Will he ever leave us alone? 1974".

Eastwood City in Manilla when a strange ghostly figure was seen apparently grabbing the arm of one of the women in the picture. Nothing was seen or felt at the time the picture was taken but it seems to be quite a friendly spirit.

This photograph appeared in both the Chicago Sun-Times and the National Examiner. It was taken during an investigation in Bachelor's Grove Cemetery on August 10, 1991 with a group of GRS members. The picture is an enlarged black and white infrared shot taken of an area where many of the group noticed something unusual with some of the equipment they used. It shows a young woman sitting on a tombstone with parts of her lower and upper body being somewhat semi-transparent.

Apparently this is the Ghost of Jim Morrison.


The ghost at Hampton Court is believed to have been caught here on CCTV closing a set of doors. Taken at King Henry VIII's palace on security cam in December of 2003. The doors had been mysteriously opening and closing themselves recently.

Mystery: Devil's Den Soldier

A friend of Aaron Rutten (publisher of the image from United States) took this picture at Devil's Den in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, United States. There is the faint image of what looks like a soldier in the lower left hand corner of the picture. She claims that she saw nothing there when she took the picture. It was taken using a regular 35mm camera.


The Devil's Den, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Devil's Den is the nickname for a terrain feature south of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, that was the site of fierce fighting at the Battle of Gettysburg during the American Civil War.

Skulls are humanity's foremost symbol of death, and a powerful icon in the visual vocabularies of cultures all over the globe.

Many strangely "deformed" hominoid skulls have been discovered in Mexico and Peru. One of them, the Starchild skull found in Mexico, is currently the subject of scientific scrutiny and DNA testing.
Thirteen crystal skulls of apparently ancient origin have been found in parts of Mexico, Central America and South America, comprising one of the most fascinating subjects of 20th Century archaeology.

Many strangely "deformed" hominoid skulls have been discovered in Mexico and Peru. Anthropologists have admitted that the shapes of the Peruvian skulls is unlike the deformity caused by binding.
