Snapshot: AquaDom - World's Largest Cylindrical Aquarium

View all 10 photos...
Placed at the lobby of the Radisson SAS Hotel in Berlin, the 25 meters high AquaDom is the largest cylindrical aquarium ever built. Filled with about 900,000 liters of seawater, it contains some 2600 fish of 56 species. The AquaDom was opened in December 2003. It cost about 12.8 million euros. The Aquadom is the largest acrylic glass cylinder in the world, with a diameter of over 11 meters, built on a 9 meters tall concrete foundation.

The giant AquaDom gives a transparent-like feeling to the lobby.

Some of the interior rooms and suites look out over the atrium, offering "ocean views" of the AquaDom.

Two full-time divers are responsible for the care and feeding of the fish and maintenance of the aquarium.

The outside cylinder was manufactured on-site from four pieces; the inside cylinder for the elevator was delivered in one piece.

The Aquadom diameter is over 11 meters, built on a 9 meters tall concrete foundation.

The acrylic glass cylinder was constructed by the U.S. company Reynolds Polymer Technology.

Mystery: Crop Circles

View all 7 photos...
Are crop circles the work of alien visitors? Are they a natural phenomenon? Are they elaborate hoaxes perpetrated by some very dedicated humans?

Formation at Ogbourne St. George in Wiltshire

There are many theories for their existence:
- Whirlwind Vortex
- Plasma Vortex
- Earth Energies
- Extra-Terrestrial Origin
- Underground Archaeological
- Chemical Applications (no longer considered)
- Hoaxes
- God Force
- Military Experimentation

Crop circles are not just circles -- they can come in many different shapes. The most basic (and the most common) crop circle is the single circle. Circles may also come in sets of two (doublets), three (triplets) or four (quadruplets). Circles also may be enclosed in a thin outer ring.

Some of the more sophisticated patterns are based on mathematical equations. Astronomer and former Boston University professor Gerald S. Hawkins studied several crop circles and found that the positions of the circles, triangles and other shapes were placed based on specific numerical relationships. In one crop circle that had an outer and an inner circle, the area of the outer circle was exactly four times that of the inner circle. The specific placement of the shapes indicates that, whoever the circlemakers are, they have an intricate knowledge of Euclidean geometry (the geometry of a flat surface introduced by the mathematician Euclid of Alexandria).

Crop circle near Silbury Hill in Wiltshire, England, that resembles an Aztec Sun Stone.

This formation was discovered in Eastfield, England, in June 2004. An article in the Western Daily Press called the design "uncannily similar to plans for one of Nikola Tesla's early pieces of equipment."

Formation at Avebury Trusloe in Wiltshire.

Crop circle at West Kennett in Wiltshire that looks like a Celtic symbol called the Triskell.

Beware: Mobile Phone Can Caused Severe Brain Damage!

Change your habit on talking too long on your mobile phone.

This experiment took 65 minutes of connection between mobiles with an egg in between. We assembled something as per image:

Initiated the call between the two mobiles and allowed 65 minutes approximately…

During the first 15 minutes nothing happened;
- 25 minutes later the egg started getting hot;
- 45 minutes later the egg is hot;
- 65 minutes later the egg is cooked.

Conclusion: The immediate radiation of the mobiles has the potential to modify the proteins of the egg. Imagine what it can do with the proteins of your brains when you do long calls.
